Fees and Rebates

The fees to see a Telehealth Psychology Services’ Mental Health Practitioner varies according to your Practitioner.

Fees are $258 per 50 minute session.
The Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists charge $258 per session.

Please note, we are not a bulk billing practice.

 

Medicare rebates can be claimed for sessions with the Psychologists if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
Medicare rebates are $96.65 for a General Psychologist and $141.85 for a Clinical Psychologist.
Private Health Funds can be claimed for sessions with our Psychologists if you are covered for Psychology. 
Sessions with the Counsellors can not be claimed on Medicare or Private Health Funds.

Referrals and Claiming

Payment

 You do not need a referral to see a Mental Health Practitioner, you can simply book an appointment.

We accept referrals for claims made through Medicare, NDIS, EAP (Employee Assistance Programmes), Private Health Funds, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and Insurance Companies e.g. CTP claims.

We do accept WorkCover Queensland claims.

Consultation fees are to be paid on the day at the time of your appointment, or when booking your appointment online. For all sessions the full rate is charged via credit card. Telehealth Psychology Services accepts credit and debit cards, such as Visa and Mastercard, with our secure online payment system, Stripe. It is a requirement when engaging our services to enter your credit card details into our secure online system when you complete your intake form.

You will only be charged on the day of your session or if there is a cancellation within 2 business days of your scheduled time.

If you claiming through Medicare, your Medicare rebate will be processed for you after your session. Medicare pays the rebate usually overnight into your bank account howver allow up to 3 working days.  If you require the money earlier you can call Medicare on 132011 and they can process it immediately. 

If you wish to claim yourself through your private health fund you will receive an invoice that you can submit to your health fund.

Attendance Policy (Cancellation Fees)

Please be aware of the attendance policy.

Appointments cancelled with less than 2 business days and no shows are charged at 100% of the consultation fee.

Your session time is booked exclusively for you and as there is a waitlist for appointments, there are clients who may have missed out on an appointment time if we don’t receive adequate time to fill the spot.

If there is more than 2 day’s notice of a cancellation given, no fee will be charged. Attendance/Cancellation fees must be paid before another appointment can be made.

Please note that cancellation fees are unable to be claimed back from Medicare.
