You might be here because you’re asking:
• Why does this still hurt so much?
• Shouldn’t I be feeling better by now?
• Why do I feel numb, angry, or distant?
• Am I grieving “wrong”?
• How do I move forward without losing what I’ve lost?
Understanding Grief
Grief does not follow a predictable path. It can show up as sadness, numbness, anger, confusion, or a sense of being stuck — particularly when others expect you to have “moved on.”
Loss can take many forms: a person, a relationship, your health, your identity, or the future you imagined.
There is no correct timeline. Grief shifts over time, but it does not follow rules.
What Support Can Look Like
Psychological support isn’t about judging your choices or labelling your behaviour.
It’s about helping you explore what’s driving your drinking, what it’s doing for you — and what it might be costing you.
With the right support, you can:
Understand your patterns with more clarity and compassion
Build healthier ways to cope with stress, pressure, or emotion
Work through the things alcohol may be helping you avoid
Make decisions about change, on your terms
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here.
You set the pace. We bring the experience, care, and structure.
How Sessions Work
All sessions are conducted via secure Telehealth — on your phone, tablet, or computer — wherever you feel most at ease.
This means:
No clinics, travel, or waiting rooms
You can talk from home, work, or even your car
You choose your Psychologist, or we’ll help match you
No GP referral required (unless you want to use Medicare)
Private health rebates may be available, depending on your cover
Many people find that Telehealth makes it easier to start — and to keep going.
Getting started
If you’re considering support, you don’t need to have everything figured out first.
